The Ashlow Optical Bench Jig is used for precisely setting cassette Roller Entry Guides as illustrated below. An integral light source projects the image of the rollers onto a screen at exactly 5 x magnification.
The roller centers are then adjusted until the image coincides with
a Perspex template engraved with the exact roller profile
at 5 x magnification including running clearance.
